The next board meeting will be April 20th. The next HOA meeting will be May 4th.
PLANNED DECEMBER ACTIVITIES:
The the entrance sign dedication was held on the 14th. Go to Special Photo section to see pictures.
The Christmas home decorating judging was held on the 16th. George Steindorfer, City Councilman did the judging and the winners are:
Bob Stoekel First Place $50.00
Robert & Cheryl Loosch Second Place $25.00
Steven & Angela Hughes Third Place 15.00
Bob Stoekel conducted his annual hayride on December 20th and collected 1,275 packages of food for the needy. Thanks to everyone who made a donation.
There have been reports of large dogs roaming free in the neighborhood. There has also been an increase in dog waste in the yards. All pet owners are required to obey leash laws and curb their pets and pick up the waste.
To request an animal control officer/dog catcher, you may call the Port Orange Police department at 756 7400.

Did you know that if you are taking a trip away from home you can notify Port Orange police and they will make periodic trips by your home to check it out. Call the station for more details.
WaterWay Management
The Board of Directors has discussed idea of stocking the lakes with sterile Carp. If you live on a lake, you may be contacted in the near future to get your opinion. Also, if you fish our lakes it is recommended that you toss your catch back in the lake rather than frying it up for dinner.

STORM WATER DRAINAGER ISSUE ONGOING
Port Orange has indicated that work on the water drainage issue on Village Trail will be addressed this year. We will keep you posted. We just aren't sure which year that meant!!
BLOCK CAPTAIN HELP NEEDED

COMMUNITY VANDALISM
There have been reports of petty vandalism in the community. However, petty acts tend to increase in severity if not caught early. If you see suspicious persons or witness acts of vandalism, please contact the local police, a bpard member or an association officer.
